DOUG SPEAKMAN, PRESIDENT
Doug Speakman has been in the Natural Products Industry for more than 35 years.
He began working as the manager of Ever’Man Natural Foods Coop in Pensacola, Florida. His next position was as a sales rep for two distributors, Akin Distributors and Tree of Life, both located in Florida.
He moved up the ladder with Hain Pure Foods, Knudsen Juice, Lundberg Family Farms, Pacific Grain and Good Earth Herbal Teas working as a Sales Rep, District Manager, Regional Manager, National Sales Manager and finally VP of Sales and Marketing.
Doug had been involved in all aspects of the Natural Foods business prior to buying Sunshine Specialties in Northern CA from Michael Iannotti in 1996. After being in the industry for many years "managing" brokers, Doug directs his own brokerage company with the goal of giving his principals the service he strived for all those years from other brokers.
